Early Childhood Leadership

Responsible for carrying out school mission by implementing curriculum, overseeing teachers and ensuring that both school sites run smoothly in accordance with school policies and procedures in the absence of the school's Director.

Support the school mission by developing and executing curriculum and daily lesson plans in accordance with the established philosophy.

Lead and supervise teaching staff in developing and implementing appropriate after school curriculum. Implement and oversee pick up and drop off procedures for children attending the After School program from other local schools.

-Lead instruction for the 4s classroom in a play based, art based preschool setting-Incorporate Project Based Learning inside of classroom play centers-Invite and coordinate parent visits into the classroom for volunteering and special events-Organize regular community field trips-Plan curriculum lessons based on units of study and student interest-Collaborate instruction and planning with special instructors (music, french, visitors and related service providers)-Maintain monthly newsletters, weekly recaps and Flickr photo account for communication updates with parents/staff
