 I facilitated the social and personal adjustment of over 100 young athletes learning a new sport.  Develop a sense of community among athletes from different racial and socio-economic backgrounds. Provide a safe environment for young women to be active and learn to work with others. Empower young women, ages 9-17, to voice their thoughts to an authority figure in a productive and respectful manner.  Supported athletes in finding solutions to problems when skills were not progressing in the way the athlete expected.

 Collected and analyzed local, state, and nationwide demographic data for GCAPP initiatives. Worked with priority counties to implement comprehensive sex education. Participated in five different teacher training to implement FLASH curriculum in schools.  Presented data analysis on current demographic trends to GCAPP leadership and discussed areas of improvement. Identified key contacts throughout Georgia to increase involvement and awareness in selecting a comprehensive sex education curriculum.

 Mentored at-risk youth between 14-19 through a dual Upward Bound education and leadership program for up to 85 students.  Provided a safer space for students to learn that valued diversity and inclusion. Taught three classes on Algebra I and Trigonometry to approximately 40 students. Developed and implemented weekly lesson plans on Algebra I and Trigonometry. Co-chaperone a multi-week college tour trip for 150 students.

 Served as a liaison between residents and college administration.  Interviewed 25 potential candidates for a Resident Advisor position. Facilitated yearly one-on-ones with 120 residents on the social, academic, and personal adjustment within the resident halls.  Developed a sense of community among residents by planning over 20 social events a year. Presented “Who said Dat? The Real Stresses of Being a Resident Advisor” at the Georgia Resident Assistant Saturday Seminar. Facilitated Policy and Procedures training to 85 Resident Advisors. Attended Diversity and Inclusion training on best practices on how to create a safer space for residents.
