I am passionate about creating spaces to empower racialized youth in enacting systems change. As project lead for hua foundation's Language Access Project (LAP) and adjunct faculty with the University of British Columbia's Asian Canadian and Asian Migration Studies (ACAM) program, my current work focuses on providing meaningful opportunities for youth to be involved in policy work and community engaged research.Born and raised on the unceded and ancestral lands and territories stewarded by hən̓q̓əmin̓əm̓ (Downriver Halkomelem) and Skwxwú7mesh sníchim (Squamish) speaking peoples, I am an avid (but amateur) outrigger canoe paddler and soccer player, a sometimes-photographer, and strive to be every dog’s favourite auntie.
