As a founding member of SPARC, my role encompassed all growth-related tasks and evolved into the leadership and strategy of our Talent Acquisition and Human Resources. Working closely with our marketing department, we created an award-winning employer brand which was instrumental to our rapid growth and scale. In five years, we grew to over 300 team members. SPARC was acquired by Booz Allen Hamilton in October of 2015. SPARC provided full software development lifecycle support services in the commercial, federal, government, and contracting industries.

While employed at ARAMARK, my responsibilities encompassed the full-cycle recruiting and sourcing process for all Corporate functions including, but not limited to Human Resources, IT, Finance, Legal, and Risk Management. In addition to my daily recruiting responsibilities, I partnered with Corporate Human Resources on a wide range of initiatives such as identifying trends in metrics reporting, enterprise-wide Finance recruitment, participation in Finance Networking Associations such as NABA, FENG, and PICPA, as well as the training of Hiring Managers on our ATS, Taleo. Additionally, I had one direct report, a Talent Acquisition Specialist, who also supports our Domestic group.

I started with Aerotek as a Recruiter in Charlotte, NC in June of 2003. I was assigned to a division that focused on the Manufacturing, Aerospace, and Department of Defense industries. Within 4 months, I was asked by to relocate to Charleston, SC to open a new branch office. By the end of my first year, I won a recruiter contest averaging $572,000 in net profits. At the beginning of 2006, I was again promoted into a Sales position and asked to start up a division that had never been sold in this territory. As an Account Manager, I was responsible for marketing and developing a territory for our Civil, Environmental, and Construction Management division. Within 9 months, I was averaging $17,000 in net profit per week. At the end of my first year in sales, I created new business with over 20 new accounts and ranked 3rd in a “New Client” contest for the entire Southeast.
