When it comes to challenges, my passion and motivation lead me to success. This has been consistent throughout my life where I was advised against something because it was too difficult, yet I was able to succeed. Consistently throughout my life, I continue to push myself and I excel beyond any goals that I might have. My dream of becoming an engineer and graduating from Purdue University was made reality, despite others trying to convince me not to. My desire to improve the lives of people led to my dream of becoming an engineer. There exists a constant need for advancements in biotechnology and health. Such advancements have increased the quality of life for many individuals. As a biological engineer and a biochemist, I am well educated in these areas from the molecular level to production. I have obtained a wide range of research experience in the areas of cancer, nanotechnology, microRNA, and food processing by means of extrusion. My passion, knowledge, and experience have enabled me to become the engineer I have always dreamed of. I hope to use the knowledge that I have obtained through my education and research to continue to improve lives through health and nutrition.
