Collaborated remotely to draft and design the sets for Storyland Theatre’s entire season performed at Maxwell Theatre. Fabricated and painted set pieces, flats, and props on site in a timely manner. Oversaw load-ins and directed local labor to install set pieces and dress the sets.

Sarasota, Florida Area

Generated budget estimates for productions. Advanced incoming shows with touring production managers, including educational shows, concerts, comedians, and Broadway. Typical advance protocol included creating crew notes for IATSE house crew, generating the crew call, organizing hospitality, and communicating available equipment in house to touring contacts while adhering to the contracted budget. Represented Van Wezel during load ins and load outs and coordinated with tour production managers, local labor, and front of house operations to run shows with the safety of the guests as number one priority.

Palmetto, Florida

Loaded in, maintained, and loaded out portable ice floors internationally and collaborated with local promoters and venue personnel. Trained, established safety practices for, and ran local labor crews of up to 40 people during ins and outs. Safely operated industrial chillers (HVAC), generators, and transformers. Supported Disney on Ice shows on tour on a daily basis during rehearsals, open ice, and shows. Maintained equipment in the shop and made repairs between tours. Created visual aids for the new training program for new and existing ice technicians. First female ice technician in the history of the company to be sent to Japan, a tour that depends on skilled technicians who are able to maintain good relationships with the Japanese promoters. Lead ice technician in training; confirmed hotel reservations, local labor, equipment rentals, and transportation.
