Oversee 61 operations that encompass 11 states with average monthly revenue of $28M.Analyze monthly aging reports.Ensure that items the field has deemed as uncollectable revenue have been removed, properly addressed, adjustments have been completed, and that items are processed correctly.Check for any items that could be a small balance write-off.Check for cash posting errors and resolve the errors.Identify consumers who have an open balance over 90 days/over $3K and mark these for monthly A/R calls (Critical Accounts).Run and analyze various reports out of HCS to ensure that we are correct and accurate data. By doing this we are ensuring that we have good revenue that we will be paid for. Participate in monthly A/R calls to discuss collection efforts on all accounts.Discuss balances that need to be refunded and ensure that they are processed.Discuss collection actions for Critical Accounts.Review monthly DSO for each operation.Review of Standard Files.Review new admission files and consumers that have outstanding balances over 180 days/$5K or greater.Review new admission documents that include Service Agreements, Eligibility Forms, Level of Care, Share of Cost information and Authorizations.Review collection documents that include Service Agreements, EOB’s and Billing Logs.Run system reports and audit to insure that the Business Managers are entering Authorization numbers, Period restrictions and Cap on units.Develop a plan of action for any state issues that arise and present these to the VP of Accounts Receivable and the Director of Collections. Maintain familiarity with payors and/or consumers with large account balances. System Training and ongoing support for the region.Evaluate process efficiency. Devise and implement new processes where improvement is needed.Write process training documentation when processes change.
