My practice includes the full spectrum of labor and employment law and focuses on the representation of employers in a variety of litigation matters, including sexual harassment, race, national origin, disability and age discrimination cases, wrongful discharge, defamation, slander, and other state law and constitutional claims. My practice also includes counseling employers on issues including compliance with the American With Disabilities Act, Family Medical Leave Act, sexual harassment investigations, reductions-in-force, discipline and terminations. I often provide training to employers on recognizing and preventing sexual harassment and other forms of employment discrimination. I also focus my practice on complex litigation, including single-plaintiff, class, and collective action litigation involving both wage/hour and discrimination claims. I specialize in the defense of professional liability claims, with emphasis on accountants, lawyers, architects, engineers and other design professionals, real estate agents and brokers, and insurance agents and brokers liability claims and miscellaneous claims. I also handle complex commercial litigation, business litigation, class action and mass tort litigation, estate and trust litigation, and mergers and acquisitions.I routinely represent directors and officers in derivative and class actions arising out of tender offers, going private transactions, mergers and acquisitions and securities anomalies.
