Leveraging my talents as a deep relationship-builder, systems thinker and operational acumen, I’ve woven a colorful life replete with varied projects, continuous learning and personal development. My professional career began with a decade in B2B outside sales in the telecom industry before resigning in 2018 to run my first of two companies. In 2017, I accepted an invitation to join a college friend for a week in Chiapas, Mexico. During that week, an embroidery co-op asked if we would import their textiles and sell them in the US. We said yes, and that rapidly expanded into importing and distributing coffee and other high-quality products from Mexico. For three years I built and ran a multi-channel import & distribution business and supplied coffee to >50 universities and parishes, Amazon, and even Disneyworld.In 2019, I took the opportunity to re-launch my family’s electrical contracting business, and grew it from one employee and $0 revenue to nine employees and $1.25 MM over four years. As majority owner, I oversaw sales, operations and finance. R Squared Electric morphed from residential service & light construction to commercial construction, working with commercial general contractors in DFW on projects under 50,000 sq ft. Before transitioning to commercial, R Squared partnered with The Home Depot as the #1 home standby generator installer in Texas, installing 250 generators in 18 months. As Chief of Staff at Go Studio, my purpose is to double the president’s capacity through helping run the business operations and liaise to our design teams to remove roadblocks. I believe one of our greatest responsibilities in life is to use our God-given talents, gifts & strengths to do good work. When we work in our strengths, we are actively becoming the best-version-of-ourselves.
