February 2017 - February 2018 (Remote Year Participant) - I had the opportunity to work as a consultant while traveling and experiencing the world with 50+ other professionals across a variety of industries. I lived in 12 different cities / 11 countries and traveled to countless other places, all while maintaining my clients and projects. This experience was life and career changing.

Lead a Business Affairs team of seven in 72andSunny's New York office.

Clients: Adidas, ESPN, Coors Light, Coors Banquet, InstagramPrevious clients include: Samsung, Smirnoff, Starbucks, Tillamook, Activision, Sonos, Carls Jr/Hardees, Unilever, Garofalo, 72andSunny Brand and 72UManage Partnerships and Legal ("PAL") teams across multiple accounts, train and develop new PAL talent, develop tools for training and educating teams throughout agency, search for music for use in TV campaigns, maintain valuable relationships with music labels, music publishers, music and talent managers, talent agents, music production houses, production companies, film studios, clip licensors, licensors of photography, secure high profile celebrity and artist talent. As a function of the production team, we are integral in the production process and ensuring the expected end product is achieved.

Clients: Starbucks, Smirnoff, SONOS, New Business, 72andSunny Internal, 72U, New BusinessManage Business Affairs teams across multiple accounts, continuously develop existing and new licensing relationships, coordinate music searches, negotiate and draft music licenses and celebrity/overscale agreements, manage production budgets, review campaigns for legal and network clearance, facilitate clearance with broadcast networks, handle all 3rd party licensing, cultivate and maintain strong relationships with both music and talent, including but not limited to labels, publishers, managers, agents and production companies.

Clients: Samsung, Carl's Jr./Hardee's, Garofalo, ESPN, ActivisionCoordinate music searches, negotiate and draft music licenses and celebrity/overscale agreements, manage production budgets, review campaigns for legal and network clearance, facilitate clearance with broadcast networks, handle all 3rd party licensing, cultivate and maintain strong relationships with both music and talent, including but not limited to labels, publishers, managers, agents and production companies.

Clients: Sony PlayStation, The California Milk Advisory Board and CiCi's PizzaNegotiated all celebrity fees and contracts, managed various aspects of production including budget, provided talent estimates, facilitated talent payments, dealt with SAG/AFTRA union matters, negotiated rates and licenses for use of music, handled all required 3rd party licensing, reviewed campaigns for legal issues, advised teams.

Negotiated rates for all 3rd party licenses (master, sync, clip, art and international), quoted rates for licensing of Shout! Factory owned catalogs and content, created music budgets for P&L reports used for Business Development, facilitated and papered international distribution deals, prepared all license agreements, assessed and advised all departments regarding rights, limitations, approvals and royalty obligations, supervised mechanical licensing for record label, managed two employees and various interns.

Managed all aspects of master, synch, mechanical, clip, still and international licensing, ensured proper delivery of assets to international distributors, corresponded extensively with artists, publishers, record labels, film/television companies, attorneys, managers, and talent agencies, mentored and co-supervised assistant and interns.

Submitted and tracked all copyright registrations and assignments of copyright, extracted and entered essential music and songwriter data in company database, processed new legal agreements, defended and resolved disputes over copyrights domestically and internationally, supervised two assistants.

Assisted two attorneys and a manager, tracked and recorded contract briefs, responded to songwriter inquiries, reviewed and interpreted various agreements and licenses respecting copyright renewal & termination matters, estates & heirs issues and copyright infringement claims.
