As a Talent Acquisition Specialist at Think Academy U.S., I am responsible for sourcing, screening, and hiring qualified candidates for various positions in the education sector. I use my skills in workplace organization, organizational development, and research to ensure that the talent pool is diverse, inclusive, and aligned with the company's mission and values. I also collaborate with the human resources team to provide training and support for new hires and existing employees.I am currently pursuing a Master of Science in Industrial and Organizational Psychology at San Jose State University, where I am learning how to apply psychological principles and methods to improve the performance, satisfaction, and well-being of individuals and groups in work settings. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from California State University, Long Beach, and I have also studied at City University of Hong Kong and Dankook University in South Korea, where I gained exposure to different cultures, languages, and perspectives.Before joining Think Academy U.S., I was the founder of a small business that I launched during the pandemic, where I conducted market research, developed business plans, and managed the store operations. I also have experience as a human resources intern at SenseTime, a leading artificial intelligence company, where I assisted with recruitment, onboarding, and employee engagement activities.I am passionate about finding and developing talent, creating positive and productive work environments, and contributing to the advancement of education and technology.
