About Christina Ayala

Christina leads and supports a Team of Associate Recruiters and Team Leaders whose mission is to attract, onboard, develop and retain extraordinary People who enhance our Culture by Living and Working the Southwest Way while delivering Friendly Customer Service. She partners with Airport Leaders, HR Business Partners and Community organizations to support our recruiting efforts at Southwest Airlines. Her career began in 1993 as a Reservation Agent in San Antonio, Texas while attending college. She later moved about the Company as a Customer Service Agent in Kansas City, Missouri, to Flight Operations and Marketing in Baltimore, Maryland. She received her BFA from the Kansas City Art Institute in 1997 and MFA at the Maryland Institute College of Art in 2000. She is currently an alumni of the Manager in Training program (MIT) and the Companywide Culture Committee at Southwest Airlines. When she isn't recruiting others to join the Southwest family, she enjoys spending time with her husband, John Morris and French bulldog, Rose. She is passionate about sharing her Servant's Heart at the local Ronald McDonald House and Open Hand of Atlanta. She and her family are grateful and humbled by the years of LUV and learning while working at The Best Place To Work, Southwest Airlines.
