Instructor at The Judith Herb College of Education within the Department of Early Childhood, Physical and Special Education. My focus was primarily on undergraduate students who are working toward Bachelor of Education in Early Childhood, K-3 Ohio teaching license. I also worked with those pursuing 4-5 grade endorsement and students in ECE Special Education/ Intervention Specialist degrees. I participated in development of the full-time Distance Learning setting in ECE for those pursuing a B.Ed in ECE in the Fast Track program. All courses taught on campus / face to face are web assisted using via Blackboard 9.0. In addition to teaching in a full-time capacity, I successfully completed all doctoral coursework for Ph.D. degree requirements and actively participated in quantitative and qualitative research, presentation, grant writing, NCATE accreditation, curriculum development and curriculum design. More specifically, experience in coding in a research project using single subject methodology in Special Education. Additionally, participated in data collection, analysis and presentation for a research project within the School of Inter-Professional Studies for the College of Education, Health Science and Human Services. This involved a thematic analysis to identify common program standards and professional competencies within the schools of Early Childhood Education, Special Education, Social Work, School Psychology, Speech and Language Pathology, Occupational Therapy and Physical Therapy.
