As a personal support worker for an individual with special needs, I provide emotional and educational support for this family; namely, assisting in education through repetition, memory exercises and creative new ways of thinking, being responsible for monitoring medical conditions and responding to daily seizures with care and providing emotional support that relieves caregiver stress.

As a Peer Helper for the ArtsOne program, I worked alongside professional staff, professors and students to provide academic and non-academic support for first-year students. I was actively contributed to the planning, organization, coordination, and promotion of ArtsOne events. Furthermore, I worked in collaboration with other ArtsOne Peer-Helpers to run the ArtsOne cuLearn page for students, detailing specific student support services and various events on campus.
