Excel VBA experience in creating tools for internal process improvement:Actuators: I created a tool to select Actuator specifications. The tool provides a complete and correct part code, plus pricing and complete specification sheet for use in quoting and contract management which is widely used internally for product selection. SPIR Generation: I edited and developed an existing tool for SPIR creation based on Bills of Material downloaded from ERP system. Original tool processed 10 bills of material and needed manual pricing and part selection. I developed VBA programs to accurately select all parts required, assess materials, price according to size/part type/material, input standard delivery lead-times, check for discrepancies against standard BOM expectations, increase processing ability to 50 BOMs, significantly cut processing time.
