Provide training and technical assistance to regional schools to help with wellness policy creation, improvement, and implementation. HSNY also supports the school food nutrition program and physical activity and education programs. Trainer for SAVE 2 Hour Violence Prevention Training, Violent and Disruptive Incident Reporting (VADIR) and Dignity for all Students Act (DASA) for school personnel and school districts across New York State while also providing ongoing technical assistance. Co-designer of blended learning course for the 6 hour Dignity for All Students Act Certification Course. Three hour online portion created in the Ulster Moodle. Site visit team member for schools designated "Persistently Dangerous." Responsible for conducting parent, student and staff focus groups and completing facility assessments.

I provide multi-year training and technical assistance for school and district teams in the PBIS Model. Provided PBIS training and technical support to 40 Schools under NYS-PBIS Grant Initiative, representing 19 districts in the Hudson Valley; Universal, Targeted and Intensive Interventions. Provided ongoing Technical Assistance to 49 Internal and 10 External Coaches to enhance their PBIS coaching skills.Facilitated collaborations between local OMH, special ed., community agencies, families and PBIS schools to enhance and strengthen PBIS. Also Established partnerships with other organizations such as BOCES, OMH, & CCSI to provide TA to self initiated PBIS schools. Submitted reports, data and summaries to Supervisor, Statewide PBIS Coordinator & NYS PBIS Leadership team quarterly and yearly. Produced annual PBIS newsletters and provide ongoing current resources and research to PBIS schools. Collaborated with PBIS Specialists and School Focused Family Coordinators to present PBIS to organizations throughout NYS. Created regional and state data collection tools now used by all PBIS Specialists and the PBIS Statewide Coordinator.
