Christine Fenenga Email and Phone Number
I am Global Health specialist with over 30 years of working experience in international health, mostly in Sub-Saharan Africa and Asia. I currently work as Technical Capacity Strengthening coordinator with NLR, and am responsible for establishing an on-line repository of blended integrated capacity strengthening courses for frontline healthworkers(https://e-learning.infoNTD.org). This I do in close allignment with the WHO and in collaboration with InfoNTD, Health(e)Foundation and national and international partners in NTD endemic countries. Part of the work concerns an impact study on the effect of on-line learning in India and Nigeria. I hold an MSc in Public Health from the University of Liverpool, United Kingdom and a PhD in Socio-cultural Determinants in Health from the University in Groningen, The Netherlands. I feel passionate about working together with people, hearing their stories to understanding their health needs. Building strong resilient healthy communities need effective responsive health systems with sufficient numbers of professional technical staff. I believe that effective strategies require innovative technology and blended learning methods, together with strong stakeholder collaboration and co-creation of programs. This, in combination with evidence building through operational research and active advocacy and communication, will help us to make a difference.
