Research is one of the main objectives of the organisation aiming to feed research findings into advocacy, practice and policy. 2010-2014 PhD Researcher In the study 'Towards a client oriented health insurance system in Ghana', a mixed method intervention study. Key was the use of the Participatory Action Approach to involve stakeholders (clients, healthcare providers and National Health Insurance Scheme staff) in the study from design up to defining policy lessons based on findings. The project was a collaborative initiative of the Ghana National Health Insurance Authority, the universities of Ghana, Groningen, Amsterdam and the Free University of Amsterdam. Fenenga's study field is the interface of Cultural Sociology and Public Health (University of Groningen, Population Research Centre of the Demography Department).
