As the Director for FLEX, a year-long leadership program based on the Social Change Model of Leadership and the VT Aspirations for Student Learning for first-year students, I develop and lead the FLEX mentorship curriculum. I am responsible for managing and updating main communication on the Canvas page, weekly mails, as well as developing the social media platforms. I facilitate weekly mentor meetings for development and FLEX meetings for students to provide exposure to diverse perspectives and campus opportunities.

The objective of this project is to test strategies to translate and effectively communicate the dietary guidelines for Americans and MyPlate messages to promote healthy sustainable choices and improve American health. The research project facilitates 10 in-person focus group sessions where I am responsible for scribing student responses and assisting with set-up and clean-up. My main roles are to assist student moderating, analyzing, and publishing research response analysis.

The Family Nutrition Program is a federal-funded program that teach and provide healthy guidelines based on available food resources for optimal health and growth for limited-resource families and youth. My main role is to organize and assemble educational kits for national youth and adults nutrition programs, including "Eat Smart, Move More."

My main roles at the New Student & Family Programs are to plan and facilitate events and resources for new students and families, including Weeks of Welcome and Family Weekends. My main focus was "Hugs for Hokies," which was founded by parent volunteers who offer hugs, encouragement, pantry food items, and hygiene products for students. I design visual presentations and digital media for presentations, and collaborate and outreach with community partners for campus and information events. I am expected to demonstrate respect, flexibility, hospitality, and strong interpersonal engagement with diverse populations and attend weekly staff meetings and facilitate virtual meetings with organization leaders for updates and feedback. Additionally, I offer front-desk assistance and conduct applicant interviews for office career positions.

As a volunteer student athletic trainer aid for the Virginia Tech Football Team, I provide water, supplies, and assistance during summer football trainings, and assist the Physical Therapist during treatments.
