Responsible for the financial oversight of 10 properties plus the management company. • Perform financial statement analysis, review, and compare P&Ls to budgets. • Responsible for oversight of financial statements • Interface with senior management to review performance, explain and control variances, and assist in the achievement and tracking of objectives. • Apply the financial policies and procedures of the company. Bring inconsistencies and problems to the attention of management. • Assist corporate and hotel management in the preparation of all key budget schedules across an array of hotels; analyze budget data and assist in the preparation of required budget schedules. • Identify business issues that may have accounting and tax implications and effectively communicate to ownership. • Month-end close. • Monitor the cash flow of all properties. • Establish property-level policies for EOM Accruals. • Monitor property level Accounts Receivable Balance provided assistance where needed.

Responsible for the direct supervision of all accounting and financial analysis functions of a 40+ unit franchise QSR division. Duties/Responsibilities: • Responsible for monthly accounting close process including journal entries and analytical review of the monthly operating results to ensure accurate accounting records are maintained. • Supervise the daily cash and other collection account reconciliations, ensuring timely follow up with store-level discrepancies. • Attain advanced knowledge of the company’s accounting software and tools to monitor internal controls. Maintain and create system improvements of the general ledger system and all interfacing systems with internal modules, external vendor systems, POS feeds, allocations, and account analysis to support the balances in the balance sheet. • Prepare periodic financial reports and analysis of results. • Maintenance of fixed asset records. • Manage the annual operating budget process. • Develop and monitor business performance metrics and look for improvement opportunities and incremental efficiencies. • Coordinate with all levels of management and field operations to drive communication and accountability of key metrics and budget performance. • Work with external auditors and provide needed work papers, schedules, and analyses. • Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned.
