I’ve been in the ICT Contractor space for more than 20 years, having founded Bookssorted Payroll services in 2005 after witnessing the frustrations of contractors who were tired of payroll providers treating them as faceless numbers. Bookssorted quickly developed into a trusted payroll and bookkeeping company, helping thousands of contractors across Australia manage their incomes. Fast forward to 2019 and I founded Recruitment Sorted, quickly establishing within it the same human-centred ethos embedded in Bookssorted. At Recruitment Sorted we pride ourselves on being real people who give a damn, and over the past five years we’ve gone from strength to strength. We know that in recruitment you’re dealing with so much more than just a job – you’re dealing with people’s livelihoods, hopes and dreams. This human-centred approach sets us apart, in addition to our high levels of transparency, compliance and deep levels of experience. As a founder and CEO, my great passion is people. I love nothing more than the process of ‘match making’ a client with a contractor, and my interpersonal skills, and decades of expertise ensure a top-rate experience for all involved. In 2019 I was recognised as the Canberra Women in Business 2019 Business Woman of the Year, and while helping IT Contractors will always be my ‘why’, external recognition such as this is treasured. In September 2024 Recruitmentsorted have been nominated as finalists in APSCo Best Performance Small Teams Award.While Recruitment Sorted services all of Australia, we have deep roots in the Canberra community and enjoy giving back – one way we do this is through our partnership with Lifeline Canberra. . Through it all, our focus always ties back to the very reason I founded Bookssorted 20 years ago – ensuring ICT Contractors are treated as more than just a number.
