TNC's Program Lead for the Blue Carbon Positive Business Model Activator (BC+) global program. Our goal is to protect coastal blue carbon ecosystems, such as mangroves, seagrasses, tidal marshes, and macroalgae, while also driving economic growth through sustainable business models. My responsibilities include engaging key stakeholders, managing the $30 million program budget, and overseeing TNC's BC+ team. In addition, I manage the development and long-term strategy of regenerative blue carbon businesses in partnership with my counterpart at Conservation International. By collaborating with internal and external partners, we aim to create economically viable solutions that benefit both the environment and local communities.

-Provide technical support, design, and implementation support of innovative finance activities and public-private partnerships with a focus on driving investment in sustainable development and agriculture and addressing systematic challenges. -Contributed to the submission of proposals and new business development opportunities including technical design and writing.-Supports financial service providers, such as banks, microfinance institutions, impact investors, and financial technology companies (fintech), to improve the reach of their services to underserved enterprises and farmers through new and expanded platforms and channels.-Conducts financial systems analysis and research and supports the design of private sector partnerships to help catalyze investment for projects.Completed coursework in: Agile Project Management Approaches, FinTech Disruptions

-Managed all operational aspects of projects including project financial management, maintaining project budgets ranging from $12M-$25M.-Managed a $300,000 pilot project to enable Kellogg's sustainable sourcing from smallholder farmers in Egypt. The private sector project prioritized corporate objectives developed reliable supply chains, and promoted sustainable livelihoods through climate-smart practices.-Supported a $3M USAID community development project in Guinea with AngloGold Ashanti (AGA), an extractive company based out of South Africa focused on sustainable cashew supply chain development. -Supported over $250M worth of proposals including research for pre-positioning and reconnaissance travel to Malawi, Zambia, Bangladesh, and Kenya. -Ensured compliance with contractually required reporting requirements and deadlines for USAID and other donor-funded programs by monitoring and overseeing reporting procedures.Completed certifications in: Women’s Leadership: Navigating the Double Bind from eConrell, USAID Rules and Regulations: Grants and Cooperative Agreements, and Navigating International HR in the Nonprofit World.

Works with technical and new business teams at ACDI/VOCA to find the best possible personnel for proposals and projects. Responsible for timely, full-cycle recruiting for proposals and projects, with a focus on bids for new business development.

Lead recruiter, staffing specialist and adviser for donor funded proposals (USAID, World Bank etc). Manage full-cycle recruiting efforts for a variety of international technical and project management positions, including screening CVs, contacting candidates, scheduling and conducting interviews, checking references, and closing the recruitment process in coordination with other departments.Use creative judgment to explore various avenues of attracting candidates with rare skill sets such as researching associations, networking, job boards or local papers. Contribute to the development of new methods to improve and streamline recruitment at our growing company. Write and/or contribute to staffing plans of proposals submitted to USAID, World Bank, and other donors.

Provided a full range of administrative support to the Senior Vice President & Corporate Secretary, and Board Affairs Coordinator to ensure effective scheduling and organization of board meetings and events, timely expense processing, and accurate corporate record keeping.
