Christine is a broadly experienced Chief Financial Officer, providing direct support to Boards of Directors, Audit and Compensation Committees. She has served as a member of her company’s Board of Directors since 2022. She qualifies as a Financial Expert (QFE). Chris is skilled in helping to grow companies and in managing change. She is known for building high caliber accounting/finance teams and leading technology innovation and process improvements. Chris is passionate about Information Technology and holds a certification in Cybersecurity Oversight from the Software Engineering Institute at Carnegie Mellon University (in partnership with the National Association of Corporate Directors). Chris has direct experience in spearheading the sale of a company. She has also successfully taken a company through the transition to a 100% employee-owned structure (ESOP). She has a background in the architectural, engineering, and construction (AEC) industries as well as in the manufacturing and insurance sectors.Chris is currently the Chief Financial Officer and is a member of the Board of Directors of Filanc, a privately-held $120 million general engineering contractor. Filanc is now a wholly owned subsidiary of Alberici Constructors since its acquisition in 2023. She has spearheaded Filanc’s ownership transition and energized the Accounting and IT teams. She is an integral voice in the development of the company’s strategic plan and instrumental in aligning Filanc’s operations within the new larger parent company.Chris previously served as Chief Financial Officer at Dudek, an employee-owned consulting firm with revenues of $125 million where she initiated and successfully completed the company’s 2021 transition to a new ESOP structure. She worked closely at a strategic level with the company’s Board of Directors and its Audit and Compensation Committees. She also provided leadership and oversight to the company’s accounting, finance, and facilities teams.Chris’ financial experience is broad and includes companies – both large and small - in several industries. She served as the Chief Financial Officer / Controller at Wallace Montgomery & Associates and progressed through a succession of diverse and increasingly responsible financial management roles at McCormick & Company, a $6 billion international NYSE-traded food manufacturer.Chris began her financial career with Ernst & Young as an auditor.Chris holds a BS in Accounting from the University of Richmond and earned her MBA at Loyola University (Maryland). She is a CPA.
