I provide leadership and oversight to a team of 250 associates handling medical, bank card technical and comprehensive (extended health) claims worldwide. I also have responsibility for fraud and subrogation. My team consists of 6 managers and 4 medical Doctors. I supervise, coach and develop staff to ensure efficiency of the department, satisfaction of customers and maximize performance of the team. I actively participate in the strategic planning process for the department working with peers across the operational team, organization and partners in other business units around the world. I establish, support and adhere to the departments budget. My role supports the acquisition of new business and the retention of current business by driving my team to meet the expected KPI's. Relationship building with external providers, clients and other business units is key to my role. I provide my expertise on complex and litigated and fraudulent claims.
