Christine Splichal is the Director of Communications for the Spring Hill School District. She has more 20 years of communication experience that spans agencies, corporate marketing and consulting. Splichal attended Kansas State University, and received her Bachelor of Science degree in journalism and mass communications. Her minor focused on marketing. Prior to joining the school district in 2009, she assisted multiple state-level Departments of Agriculture and Homeland Security with the planning and implementation of educational meetings, ultimately planning more than 350 meetings. In addition, Splichal spent five years as a national marketing manager for HNTB Architects, Engineers and Planners. She helped design, develop and implement marketing communications programs to support the company’s aviation and environmental engineering practices. She also has experience in both advertising and public relations agencies. • Provided expertise to many of the firm’s clients as a contract employee. • Successfully planned more than 300 meetings and training sessions by working closely with the firm’s clients and industry stakeholders. • Assisted SES staff with the development of technical materials and presentations for clients. • In addition, provided the firm with overall marketing communications support, including editorial review, proposal development and other communications functions.

• Worked as the company’s national marketing manager for the environmental engineering and aviation practice. Duties included designing and implementing multi-faceted communications campaigns targeted at internal and external audiences. • Completed significant writing and editing of communications materials, including newsletters and feature articles, as well as media relations. • Oversaw all facets of web site development, direct mail programs, advertising, print and video production, and convention support. • Worked directly with firm’s chairmen and technical experts to plan and successfully organize key leadership meetings, technical training workshops, industry event participation and specialty events for the firm’s employees and clients, which were held in locations nationwide.
