After 15 years producing, coordinating and marketing international cultural events (dance performances, concerts, video shoots), I decided to apply my experiences in a manner that better mirrors my ideals: to enhance public awareness about environmental issues through research and the implementation of new societal models. My in depth knowledge of the artistic sector, both in Belgium and internationally, impels me to explore and create links between culture and the environment in ways similar, for example, to the British organization, Julie’s Bicycle. However, in general, I believe my experience of non-profit management is applicable to all types of environmental projects, especially in the local sphere.Both local and international relations and mobility have always been essential components of my professional career. In today’s global context, and with the technology available to us, we have many opportunities to capitalize on the exchange of information and its capacity to enrich human relations. My goal is to use my skills in combination with these resources in the implementation and development of new forms of environmental outreach.
