Like many people, insurance was not a popular career choice when I left school and by luck very early after I left education, I landed a role as an ‘office junior’ (now an extinct species) and I have moved through my many years since then to various roles within the industry. Learning as I went on I gained experience in insurance broking and then operational roles. I’ve worked for a successful high street chain, an independent insurance broking group and then a network group of companies to finally the claims world with my role at CEC. Life is never dull and I still get to engage with insurance brokers daily in the operation and development of CEC through understanding their needs and those of their clients.
