Sweati - a start-up wearable ergonomic patch that will measure and continuously communicate live biomarker information to a mobile device to allow athletes, coaches, soldiers, patients and doctors to monitor glucose, hydration and lactate in sweat. This will allow for dynamic wellness measurement, more accurate heart-rate threshold training, performance enhancement and medical monitoring. Sweati was an exciting opportunity that allowed Christine to combine a passion for sport with broad commercial experience developed during a 13 year legal career that spanned numerous sectors and a wide variety of both practice and in-house commercial roles in multiple international jurisdictions.

A member of the Corporate & Securities Group in the Abu Dhabi office, advising on corporate and commercial matters across the GCC, playing an active role in business development and operating in a commercial capacity during in-house secondments.

Joined Bird & Bird to help establish the office in Abu Dhabi, a role that entailed substantial business development in addition to fee earning across a broad variety of sectors.

Associate solicitor in the Projects and Infrastructure team working in the energy sector with specific experience in oil and gas and power generation (traditional and alternative power generation).Upon relocating to Abu Dhabi to help establish the BLP office, Christine also assisted advising clients on general corporate and commercial matters and well as construction disputes.

Upon qualification as a solicitor in September 2006 Christine moved to London to work in the Projects team as an associate in the energy sector.
