I have now retired . ...but recently completed a Supporting Artist course at NE14 TV which was a lot of fun and very informative. (Standard DBS included- Nov. 2018)I have passed my NEBOSH General Certificate,(Aug 2014) achieving a 'credit'. I was a member of IOSH As a Multi-functional trainer for PPDG, I delivered employability courses together with facilitating ECDL Essential/Extra IT courses, helping many unemployed clients obtain skills that helped them back into the workplace.Working as Tutor/Trainer for The Manchester College based at one of HM Prisons, I was involved in the development and delivery of a variety of courses over the years, including Diversity, Alcohol Awareness and latterly, Customer Service.The prison, in the last couple of years, changed its role from one of a YOI, to a Community Prison which was very focused on successfully integrating ex-offenders in to the community upon their release. This changed the dynamics of the population and resulted in a cross section of ages within the prison. Course content and delivery had to be adapted to the new range of learners.I have recently completed level 3 in Principals of Assessment as well as a Hidden Disabilities training course.During my delivery of Alcohol Awareness, I also trained in Auricular Acupuncture for use in detoxification and relaxation through NADA.
