I am in charge of authoring and implementing the operational strategy for volume and revenue growth, identifying new opportunities, and executing project plans. I expertly manage a team of 7 leaders cultivating a culture of accountability and high performance overseeing the P&L for 49 locations. I spearhead Anesthesia, Endoscopy Operations, and Patient Access including a centralized Contact Center. In more specifics, I skyrocketed EBIDTA 400% over 4 years as a founding team member. Overall, I executed the physicians’ vision of scaling the practice focused on patient outcomes, escalating from a single practice of 17 to 200+ providers. In this, I spearheaded growth from $20M to over $200M (10X the revenue). In addition, I established an integrated KPI-driven contact center setting and achieved a 10% call abandonment rate, escalating the patient experience. I also developed an enterprise data warehouse, enabling financial, volume and patient satisfaction metrics. Moreover, I led operations of facilities as well as planned and managed construction, new builds, and site improvements, interfacing with architects and vendors. I am also in charge of clinical operations, guaranteeing staffing and ensuring all regulatory guidelines and accreditation guidelines. In this role, I am highly involved in the integration of new practices including strategic planning, business operations, due diligence, operational policies, and people management for direct practice operations and clinical services for the healthcare system. I conducted opportunity reviews to assess ROI and benefits of potential mergers and acquisitions, and participated in integration planning to ensure seamless transition and rapid growth. I administered budgets and monitored costs for site operations. Preparing forecasts and reports, I analyzed data trends and performance metrics for reporting to private equity.

COO at Digestive Disease Associates (physician practice business) and the administrator for Endoscopy operations at Berks Center for Digestive Health, operating in dual roles. Here, I directed both the practice operations and clinical services for four sites within same healthcare system, driving strategic planning and performance across locations. I managed 9 direct reports and produced an overall turnover rate of less than 10 percent. I was tasked with growing the practice for a favorable private equity sale. In this, I acted as a strategic business partner for M&A activity, integrating standards and monitoring compliance while also managing patient service expectations. I comprehensively oversaw budget development, human resources, accounting, materials management, sourcing & spending, business development, facility managing, construction projects, RFP bids, compliance & regulation, marketing, clinical workflow, QA, risk management, and process improvements, increasing revenue $10M, growing providers from 17 to 31 and boosting physician pay from $400K to $900K a year. I also served as a critical member of the leadership team during a sale to private equity. I nurtured relationships with key stakeholders, guided internal teams and operations, and collaborated with the CMO to ready the practice for the market. I assisted with buyer selection and guided information gathering and due diligence process, retaining role as the SVP of Operations after the acquisition. I also led the organization through significant internal transformation, including guiding the practice in growing from one site to four locations. In regard to personnel, I supervised and trained 200 employees from clerical staff to clinical teams and senior leaders. I also led all programs and projects for all facilities, maintaining 60K+ patient visits per year and launched the research division from the ground up, as well as provided full oversight of the infusion services team.

I performed in a transitional role while achieving a Master’s Degree, onboarding 11 new office space surgery centers with policies, payer contracts, and credentialing to access Northern Litho’s services. I worked independently as a solo team, saving 30% of previous consultant expense.

As CCO, in a combination of clinical staff leader, practice manager, and strategic role, I developed and built the infrastructure underpinning the business. In this, I ensured services to the uninsured, underinsured, and marginalized patients including access to specialty services and the same high quality as any member of society. I also managed 40 direct reports. Of note, I executed the first HRSA inspection, securing Federal funding by passing inspection and approval by the Department of Health and Human Resources. I also spearheaded operations for multiple clinical divisions within the federally qualified community health center (FQHC), fostering physician relationships. In addition, I oversaw recruitment, staffing, and employee relations, impacting growth and operational strategy from scratch, creating all clinical policies, building clinical teams, and setting up QA, peer review, and risk management divisions for each location.
