Co-founded a national business hiring solutions and professional consulting firm based in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Managed and trained up to 25 recruiters/account managers and indirectly managed 12 consultants. Along with two partners, developed and successfully implemented the recruiting and consulting strategy, methodology, processes, procedures and infrastructure for the entire organization. Co-developed all strategic plans, marketing collateral, internal training materials, metrics and quarterly objectives. Also assisted with selection of office space, furniture, internal technology and office equipment, and applicant tracking system (ATS). Managed and performed hiring/firing of all recruiters and account managers, writing and giving reviews, and training, and addressed human resource issues as necessary. Remained hands-on to perform full-life-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, resume screening, performing initial interviews, scheduling client interviews, gathering feedback, running background and reference checks, salary and rate negotiations, offer extensions, and follow up. Recruited for direct hire, contract and contract-to-hire openings for lower-level positions through executive level. Also responsible for business development and client management. Worked directly with hiring managers and human resource professionals to gather requirements, understand corporate culture, and offer guidance for a smooth interview and selection process.
