As a Staff Counsel Investigator with Travelers Investigative Services (TIS), I provide assistance to our talented attorneys by conducting comprehensive and professional investigations in support of the outstanding legal services that are provided to our valued customers. I retired from policing after 26 years of serving the residents of Chester County where among a variety of assignments, I served as a Crime Prevention Officer, Field Training Officer, Hostage Negotiator, as well as a Patrol Sergeant, and Acting Lieutenant. While I was honored to serve in all of these capacities, my time spent as a detective and then later as the Sergeant of the Criminal Investigation Division was the most rewarding and fulfilling of my career as my passion in policing was conducting thorough criminal investigations and bringing justice to the most injured victims. I based my career on a commitment to service, professionalism, accountability, and performance and I remain dedicated to the continued improvement of the policing profession as a whole, steadfast in the belief that officers are accountable to the community they serve through moral and ethical applications of police procedure and administration.
