Christine started her career in the music industry as an independent blogger, followed by interning for VICE’s electronic music focused publication, THUMP Canada, on the editorial team. In 2015, she joined District, as Manager of Content and Licensing, now Head of Content.Christine is a source of detailed knowledge and information on all network operations including music curation across all genres, licensing agreements and client relationships. While directing all projects for the District content team, she continuously offers professional guidance on best practices for curators and rights holders, finding ways to bridge the needs of all parties participating in the District space.Outside of District, Christine has interdisciplinary involvement as a DJ which includes bookings at Bass Coast Festival, Igloofest and Aqua Lucidity. Other involvements include time contributed to Canadian music industry associations such as the JUNO’s, Creative BC and participation in the VIFF Amp program.
