I felt very creatively-fed using merchandising strategies to promote and optimize the brand image while also leveraging profits. Nurturing customers into repeat clients and forging community bonds became the cherry on top!Content CreationConceiving and developing brand collateral became a natural outgrowth of my usual duties. I began to marry my love of graphic design and creative writing while designing presentations and educational materials for district-wide usage. Newsletters, store forms, e-mail blasts, and guides for best practices were released during my tenure.Peer DevelopmentCrafting educational content allowed me to reflect on my decade's worth of know-how while actively passing it to others. Because retail, by nature, can be a grind, it was through teaching others that I was able to fully recognize the invaluable worth of prior leaders in my career. It is from these managers that I learned exactly how I wanted to lead.I'm always interested in pushing myself and growing to better stretch the limits of what I can do in these fields.
