RETAIL TRAINING MANAGERServed as the retail training manager for a holistic pet food company, striving to continually increase the knowledge and sales of products within NY, CT, NJ, PA, DE and MD. Trained staff at all Pet Valu stores and other major pet retailers as needed. Visited retail stores and identified opportunities for growth. Promoted and sold products from over 150 vendors, continually engaging in prospecting.• Achieved $1.5MM+ in sales during 2011 as a new distributor in NJ with very limited major lines, and 2012 sales of $3.8MM with a growth percentage of 143% over 2011.• Maintained and submitted all paperwork, reports and projects in a timely manner, and conducted training sessions in addition to attending national sales meetings and industry tradeshows.

Covered territory in New Jersey, opened new accounts, ensured products were received on time and assisted in store merchandising/sets in addition to addressing all customer service issues and initiatives, and handling warehouse problems expediently for the pet food and supply distribution company.
