My architectural engineering education, supported by project work in lighting design and HVAC and facade engineering places me in a unique position to coordinate with various trades and anticipate design challenges.I joined Arup’s buildings group in 2009 as a mechanical engineer. I have a background in architectural and building systems engineering and offer experience in analyzing renewable energy generation opportunities. In early 2014 I transferred from the mechanical group to the lighting team am currently gaining experience in lighting and daylighting design. I worked with Arup's facade team part time for a couple years while in the mechanical team and gained familiarity with facades engineering and building physics that serves as a solid foundation for developing expertise in daylighting design.In August of 2018 I joined NBBJ's lighting studio. After working within an engineering firm for many years, it will be valuable to gain experience from collaborating closely with in-house architects.
