Helping seniors remain independent in their homes as long as possible by improving the quality of their lives through services including companionship, enriching activities, housekeeping, laundry, meal planning and preparation, running errands, and incidental transportation to appointments.Through this care the senior's dignity in protected and their families are assisted to continue their own responsibilities without the added burden of worry about their elderly family member.

Sort, count and deliver meals to clients. Talk with each client, observation of how they are doing. Report any question and concerns back to the office. Always a smile and a good word. We are sometimes the only person these clients see in a day. We help seniors and disabled to stay in their homes.

Leader/facilitator/teacher for the evidenced-based program "Powerful Tools for Caregivers" offered through the health care agency serving the Beach Cities area of South Bay, Los Angeles.This program, designed to offer support to family caregivers of adults with chronic conditions in a way that enhances their well being as they care for others, is a critical asset to those suffering the effects the demands of care giving.Meeting once a week over a six week span, this interactive, supportive series teaches tools for the caregiver to reduce personal stress, change negative self-talk, communicate their needs to family and healthcare providers, communicate more effectively in challenging situations, recognize the messages in their emotions, deal with difficult feelings, utilization of community resources and making tough care giving decisions.Winner of awards from AARP, National Alliance for Caregiving, American Society of Aging and the Met Life Foundation, Powerful Tools for Caregivers is offered nationwide, sustaind by extensive collaboration with community based organizations.Those in midlife's 'sandwich generation' will benefit greatly as well as anyone who feels overwhelmed or weighted by the demands of care giving for someone with a chronic condition.
