I am an accomplished leader and strategist for community-based organizations. In 2019, I was the first woman elected to the Verona Township council in 12 years, winning by an unprecedented margin. In my second election in 2023, I was again the top vote getter, making me the first woman in Verona to ever be the top vote getter in two elections. My elected service to Verona was after several years of leading multiple community-based organizations and key fundraisers for non-profit organizations. I am the co-creator of the largest single-day food-drive to benefit our local food pantry, which has generated 10,000 bags of food and $22,000 cash donations since its inception in 2014. Prior to my election, I led the advocacy to successfully persuade the town council to invest $3.6 million in the renovation of our local library, and founded a social networking group for 200+ women in the Essex County area.My passion is addressing food insecurity in suburban communities and advocating for common sense solutions to our nation’s gun violence problem. As a member of the Board of Trustees of the Human Needs Food Pantry, I have strategically transformed fundraising for the organization, dramatically improving donor retention. As a state volunteer leader with a national gun-violence prevention organization, I developed data-based strategies on how to attract and retain volunteers state-wide. I have also successfully recruited top volunteer talent to fill many leadership positions.Strategic-Analysis | Leadership | Program Manager | Development | Team Manager | Campaign Development
