Having more than 20 years of experience in the industry, Christine Martinez de Castro is a marketing and sales professional with vast experience in reaching the US Hispanic and Latin American markets in addition to the general market. Her communications philosophy is simple: inform, engage and inspire. Throughout her career, Christine has crafted and overseen strategies based on this philosophy and has reached key influencers, built relationships and established loyalty in the hearts of target audiences. She began her career at Ketchum Public Relations, where she oversaw several key international accounts before joining Delta Air Lines’ Corporate Communications management team. During the events of 9-11, she was chosen to lead the cross-organizational communications efforts establishing the internal and external communications strategy. Maintaining Delta as a client, Christine moved back to South Florida and began freelancing as a Public Relations Consultant in 2004 where her client roster included JetBlue, GE Energy and Coca-Cola North America.In 2010, with the real estate market’s return Christine ventured into development sales and joined Fortune as part of the sales team successfully selling out Artech, Wind, Icon Brickell and Midtown.With hands-on experience in development sales Christine moved back to agency, as Vice President of Public Relations, Marketing and Sales, where she led teams throughout the US and Latin America and worked directly with developers to promote projects such as One Thousand Museum, Privé, Biscayne Beach and Costa Hollywood. She was responsible for growing the PR department by over 200 percent and acquiring key clients including JetBlue, New Zealand Tourism and Marriott. Most recently Christine was the Director of Marketing for a premium cigar manufacturer.Martinez de Castro graduated from University of Florida with degrees in Public Relations and Business and was recognized as a McNair Scholar and a member of the Kappa Tau Alpha honor society. She resides in Miami with her three daughters.
