Safe Soulmates Community Interest Company is a friendship and dating organisation for adults with additional needs. It brings people together to socialise, find friendship and romance, aiming to reduce isolation, loneliness and abuse. Alongside another colleague, we manage all to day running of the organisation including event planning, supporting relationships, accounting, preparing funding bids, marketing and preparing compliance procedures. We are passionate about building strong relationships with our members, families and networking with other professionals.

Supporting a gentleman with additional needs carry out his physical activities, I also deal with his personal care, medication, anxiety and behaviour management, independence and helping him integrate into the local community.

My role was to deliver a bespoke learning programme for a wonderful young lady with autism and learning disabilities who I had worked with for many years before she began home schooling. -developing programmes of learning activities; -planning, preparing and researching lessons; -preparing and adapting teaching materials; -making use of special facilities and/or equipment; -managing medication; -checking and assessing students' work and giving feedback; -attending meetings and reviews; -liaising with parents, external agencies and a range of other professionals, such as speech and language therapists, physiotherapists andmusic therapists; -writing reports.

Caring for a elderly family member suffering from dementia, so she was able to stay independent in her home. I managed all areas of her life, personal care, medical needs, financial challenging behaviors, as well as the day to day running of her home.

While my children were growing up I set up a childminding business so I could be with them.My role involved- Day-to-day running of the business;- Working with families;- Marketing;- Bespoke learning for a range of different children with varying needs.

Working to support children with their education, well-being and behaviour management.- Assist with the planning of learning activities; - Create and maintain a purposeful, orderly and supportive environment;- Use strategies, in liaison with the teacher, to support pupils to achieve learning goals.- Monitor pupils’ responses to learning activities and accurately record achievement / progress as directed and provide detailed and regular feedback to teachers on pupils’ achievement and progress.- Work with a range of proffessionals to support the children to access a range of therapies to support their learning and well-being.

This role involved managing the day to day running of the portrait studio.- To manage the daily operations and the staff of the assigned studio;- Sales co-ordinator;- Portrait photographer;- Make Up artist.
