Diversified experience helps me to have a complete understanding of my customer’s business needs. Having a degree in architecture gives me a unique perspective when evaluating and designing a solution to a customer’s needs. By understanding physics and structural design, not only do I have the ability to see the small details, but the ability to visualize the whole solution. The result for my customer is always a unique, cost effective solution.A success story that I am proud of involves a customer who was experiencing breakage when shipping an expensive plastic product. After several unsuccessful attempts with other packaging consultants, I was called in to analyze the problem. Determining that I had to take the pressure off of the products weak points, which appeared to be the seams, I custom designed a solution and produced the technical drawings for its manufacture.The result; no more product damage due to improper packaging and a positive return to my customer's bottom line.Outside of my unique perspective in the packaging industry, I am also the mother of a non-verbal, autistic young adult with special needs. This role has provided me great patience, compassion and the ability to see details that others might overlook. I see my background and life experiences as giving me the tools to be a true partner to my customers rather than just their product supplier.
