A proven leader with 25 years experience in managing, mentoring, coaching, teaching and developing staff, students, and clients to achieve their individual goals. I worked with distinction in luxury markets as a Boutique Manager, leading trainer for new management, and a consultant to individuals and businesses in the Atlanta area in communications, culture, clienteling and general policy and procedures. By implementing consistent sales trainings, short and long term goal setting strategies, and regular evaluation and feedback sessions I grew the Atlanta St. John Knits Boutique from a $3 Million store to a $5.5 Million store from 2001 to 2004. From 2004 to 2011 I developed my consulting business and creatively marketed my diverse skill set to offer services to clients. In 2011, I moved with my family to the Nashville area where I continued to drive a successful bridal services business for 5 years. As a certified Life Coach, I coached numerous clients as they navigated difficult challenges and obstacles in their daily lives. Clients ranged in age from 14 - 45 years old. Through practical systems of organization, problem solving, time management, goal setting and evaluation I guided clients through the steps to meet and exceed their goals.In 2016, I moved from the private sector to serving as a teacher in Maury County Public Schools. Driven by an identified need in this area, I taught history for 4 years maintaining a level 4/5 status and routinely exceeding growth expectations for my students. I served not only as a teacher, coach and mentor to my students, but also served as district level chair for Middle School Social Studies and Professional Learning Community Coach. This allowed me to utilize my coaching and mentoring strengths to be a leader in aiding other teachers in the journey to be efficient, data driven educators with proven research based methods to improve students growth. I created a tracking system to promote school-wide use of data along with a standards based grading scale that measured mastery of content. In 2021, I transitioned to a CTE Marketing teacher position which allowed me to use my strong background and proven record in marketing and sales within the classroom. I have developed a thriving marketing program that boasts 3 successful student based businesses ranging from a retail store, printing/design services, and event planning. Through a constant growth mindset students have gained valuable skills to help them succeed in life whether they continue to pursue college or go into the workforce.
