Contractor at FDIC: Jun 2017 - Oct 2017* Was responsible for migrating legacy data residing in MicrosoftSQL Server to Salesforce CRM.* Created a set of detailed documentation including a Data Migration Plan, Detailed Design Document, Data Flow Diagram, Process Flowcharts, and a Runbook.Senior Consultant at CFPB: Mar 2016 – Jun 2017* Worked with team member to migrate legacy data from SQL Server and PostgreSQL into 27 Salesforce Standard and Custom Objects. * Developed Pentaho Kettle scripts using Spoon to extract data from SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and text files. The scripts transformed the data using complex business rules (stored and maintained in the operations database) into CSV files ready for consumption into Salesforce. The CSV files were configured to match fields in corresponding Salesforce objects using SDL files.* All scripts and data were stored on a Linux server where the Salesforce (Apex) Data Loader performed Insert, Update, Delete, and Upsert operations via the command line interface (CLI). Utilized Git and GitHub to sync Pentaho scripts and lookup files. * Developed detailed pre-deployment, deployment, and post-deployment instructions which included obtaining proper security access and Salesforce Admin access to configure settings for Users, Profiles, Permission Sets, Validation Rules, Triggers and Process Builders.* Performed multiple practice migrations to prepare for deployments in each environment from Development, UAT, QA, Integration, and Production. This practice served to proactively deal with changes in objects, configuration, mappings, and potential data issues prior to each regular deployment. * Followed the project's Agile approach including participation in daily SCRUM meetings, Sprint planning, user stories, acceptance criteria, and issue tracking in JIRA.

SQL Server Database Development:• Created SSIS packages to migrate new customer data into the corporate customer repository. • Wrote T-SQL scripts to analyze data for special projects and created real-time ad-hoc reports using Crystal Reports.• Assisted marketers by segmenting their subscriber base into groups for retaining existing customers, winning back old customers, and acquiring new customers.
