Following my interests, I achieved my Human Resource certificate from Conestoga College with high honours (an avid student, I apply myself at school or work). My favourite studies included: * Labour Relations – likely it’s the need to interpret regulations that appealed as this is a requirement of my current position. And as a level-headed communicator, I appreciated the need to remain calm and clear-headed while in the “mock” negotiation;* Organizational Development – as a trainer, what motivates people is key to imbedding training;*Public speaking – I had a blast presenting a 10-minute public speaking assignment, for which I received top marks in our class.As a Wealth Administrator I have gained a deeper understanding of how to provide a lifetime financial security to client in an elite Advisor corporation. As a Trainer with Sun Life, I have supported several business units with knowledge and skills-based training modules, creating from scratch and adjusting weekly to changes in legislation, regulations, and rules. The onboarding lessons require business leader debriefs, needs gathering, and implementing changes.In the past, as Complex Issue Associate I put astute problem solving and influential communications to work. I’m fondly referred to as “the information lady,” a nod to my hallmark of learning all I can to be most effective in my work.
