More than selling real estate, I love helping people. That's actually why I got into the industry. I don't see myself so much as a sales person, I see myself helping people accomplish a goal and build a dream. After the crash of 2008, and my own confrontation with foreclosure, I vowed to take my experience and go out and help others. Many agents don't like short sales because of the length of time they take and because of the high level of emotion that's often involved. Let's face it, there's a big difference between selling your home because you want to and selling it because it's upside down and you can no longer afford it. Those are feelings I understand all too well and that understanding is what I bring to the transaction and what helps sellers successfully make the transition. At the beginning of every short sale I've done, the sellers started out heavily burdened and torn between trying to hold on or letting go. At the end of EVERY short sale transaction I've done, the sellers were doing cartwheels and happier than they'd been in years. A burden had been lifted and they had a fresh start.
