Christo is the Managing Director of Catalyst Solutions and Econest Technology (part of the Catalyst Solutions group) At Catalyst Solutions we partner with our clients to drive growth in a compliant and sustainable manner. We use technology and bring exceptional people together to act as the catalyst for our clients to unlock innovative savings opportunities throughout their business value chain. Our business comprises of carbon and energy efficiency specialists, tax incentive specialists and software engineers. We service multinationals, listed and large unlisted enterprises in the following business areas - 1.) Carbon- Assisting clients to decarbonise, unlocking growth and ensuring resilience in a low carbon world; 2.) Energy - Assisting clients to drive down energy cost by identifying savings opportunities and measuring and verifying performance;3.) Incentives - Partnering with clients to unlock savings through various tax incentives, grants and other innovative savings mechanisms; and4.) Automation of ESG reporting requirements through our Econest platform. Catalyst Solutions is a member of the global VAT IT group which is dedicated to creating transparent, hassle free compliance and cost saving solutions. Before founding his first Catalyst Solutions business in 2012, Christo was an Associate Director at Deloitte.Christo is a registered tax practitioner and a member of the SA Institute of Tax Practitioners (SAIT). Christo is also a member of both the SAIT Incentives and Environmental Tax Working Groups.
