I am currently a PhD student at the Chair of Data Science, University of Passau under Prof. Michael Granitzer.My focus is on developing machine learning applications for Digital Forensics.During my PhD, I worked on VMI applications using machine learning to bridge the semantic gap.We developed new algorithms that involve address translations and other metadata to reliably extract main memory structures.I also developed a frequency based analysis for a malware detection algorithm.The evolution of data streams interested me and led down a path where two algorithms were developed for concept drift detection using Generative Adversarial Networks.Later, a better sampling methodology was also developed which directly led to less training data for concept drifts.Currently, I am working on a foundation model for memory forensics and the importance of metadata for the extraction of structures from main memory dumps.My work at QuEST(formerly NeST) involved prototyping applications in MATLAB and also implementing them in C++.The primary focus was machine learning and computer vision where I worked on identifying defects on X-Ray images of Silicon Carbide and Calcium Flouride crystals.I was part of the pioneering team for deep learning at QuEST where the first project for to estimate the amount of noise in an image.
