• Summer of 2012: over-saw the operations of the Sea Kayak program, responsible for training and leading the guide staff. • Facilitated 7 and 8 day mountaineering and sea kayaking expeditions for YoungLife and Church groups in the coastal wilderness of British Columbia.• Coordinated with Guide partner to plan and execute Intentional week content plans including but not limited to: daily quiet times, 4 bible studies, and teachable moments on the trail and on the water.• Attained a variety of mountain skills to include (but not limited to): glacier crossing, ice-axe technique/arrest, crevasse rescue systems, rock climbing and anchor systems, rappel systems (with back-up belay), map and compass, and wilderness travel.• Coordinated with guide partner to design and develop a route with elements that engage and challenge participants of all ages in the wilderness setting. • Assessed various wilderness and medical situations, created and executed a plan based on evaluation of scenarios.
