Customer Technical Support Engineer
Current• Responsible for the installation and maintenance of company’s software including Hospitality POS Software, Doctors Software, Wholesale and retail Software and IT equipment including all point of sale peripherals, networking and servers. • Responsible for testing software updates.• Primary duties included installing and configuring Windows Servers.• Utilising problem solving and troubleshooting abilities to resolve any major issues.• Provide 1st/2nd/3rd line IT support for clients using telephone, remote access technology or face to face assistance.• Organising meetings and seminars to help clients understand and utilise new aspects within company software updates.• Managing and administering Windows XP and Windows 7, 8,10 , Windows Server 2003,2008,2012 workstations and laptops.• Supporting Microsoft Office 2007/2010/2013 queries.• Training and developing new recruits.• Responsible for company software updates in accordance with customer needs.• Ensuring software updates run efficiently before installing the update to Customers.
