I am an entrepreneurial and multi-talented and senior business professional with a proven track record of accomplishments as a driver and leader in a b2b environment; I truly enjoy working in a start-up environment and have been involved as a co-founder in various successful and exciting businesses in Australia, Europe and the Middle East. From 2009 to 2015 I co-founded the Australian Winter Festivals, an annual national festival series with locations in Sydney CBD, Bondi Beach, Melbourne CBD, Brisbane CBD and Perth. The annual festival series produced Australia's largest open air ice skating rinks in combination with a huge and diverse international food, event and entertainment offering during the months of June, July and August. The Australian Winter Festivals have been attracting annually +1M of visitors and generated ticket revenues of +1.5M per festival location. The Winter Festivals were sold in 2015/16 to a Melbourne based food group. In 2013 I managed to turn one of my great passions "Speed Riding" into the Adventure Sport Events & Travel company SKIANDFLY.COM. Based in Australia and New Zealand the company has been running Speed Riding Progression Camps in France and New Zealand all year round for now more than 7years. We have become the leading contributor to the growth and the development of this exciting winter sport. Before immigrating to Australia I have been a co-founder of the Austrian Event and Marketing Agency Buchegger-Doerfel. The agency with offices in Vienna and Salzburg achieved five Austrian Event awards (eventaward.at) for their clients Funder AG (bronze), Telekom Austria (Gold), A1 Mobile Telekom Austria (Gold & Sliver) and Seitenblicke.at I have a huge passion for action sports; I am an active skydiver, speedrider, kitesurfer and surfer. From 2003 to 2005, together with my Event agency business partner, Matthias Buchegger we created the Kitesurfing clubs, kitepeople.at in Egypt and Turkey and the kitesurfing distribution company kitepeople.ae in the UAE. In 2019, the International Kitesurfing Organisation (IKO) awarded our Kitepeople Egypt centre based in El-Gouna to the World#1 Kitesurfing school with the highest number of kitesurfing student graduates per year.
