My current research efforts focus on designing agricultural active materials for selective pest insect regulation, plant protection and crop science. My approaches combine specific insect biotechnology and classical materials process chemistry with today’s agriculture industry needs, including highest crop yields while preserving the planets biodiversity and facilitating countless beneficial organisms in fields. In the past, I have been developing strategies to adjust divers materials properties of filtration /separation and polymers materials. I am experienced in applying multiple techniques to fabricate and characterize nano- and microstructures for various applications ranging from high performance filters, material reinforcement, crop science, surface modifications, electronics and thermoplastics.
